Cao Son is a new spot which offers something like the mountain in Fance or Canada. It is really cool in summer and cold in winter yet quite pleasant. The view is magnificient and the people are so friendly with real life experience. Located on the elevation of 1600m, Cao Son is the highest viewing point in northeast Lao Cai. You can easily enjoy the panorama of vivid mountain range and fierce Chay river with plenty villages.

The region is really not touristic and untouched. There is only one ecolodge there: Cao Son Ecolodge ( www.caoson-eco-lodge.com) and homestay with local people. Services are good and this is quite a good place for mountain holiday
