The largest city in Liaoning Province, China; Shenyang is host to some 13 million souls. Formerly known as Manchuria. It's a big city, quite polluted and very busy. Emily and I own an apartment there near the central police station in Dadongfengshue. We love to go there because the food is very cheap and very good. Shenyang has the largest Koren population in China, with its own Korea Town of approximately 3 million Korean expats. Most are from North Korea, but many came over during WWII and the Korean war. There are a lot of Korean owned businesses in Shenyang such as Samsung, LG, Kia and Daewoo.
